Does anybody know what I can do about a pain under my shoulder blade on the right side? It seems to be from carrying a kid around all the time. Thanks

I don't really notice it when I'm carrying him, but it shows up when I'm sitting or lying down.

Do you alternate which hip you carry him on?

I do, but I admit that I use my right side more. And the pain is more on my right side...maybe if I had a couple more hips?? jk Anyway, I'll try that! :-)

To A GUY,
There are muscular attachments that run from the upper arm to under the scapula. It sound that it could possibly be a repetitive Motion injury from lifting your child. Also are you utilizing your back muscles or are you bending at the knees to lift him/her up?
I hope the pain has subsided since you posted your question 72 days ago, if not please see your doctor, who can diagnose you correctly. Then seek help from a massage therapist who can work on the muscles that may be responsible for your pain.
