Could my 5-month old have an ear infection? My 5-month old has had a cold for three days. She is crying through the night and it is difficult to console her. Is it possible she has developed an ear infection?

Sounds like a pretty good bet! The best thing to do would be to have the doctor look in her ears with one of those magnifying thingys. He could tell real easily, and I don't think you want to wait too long to find out for sure. :-)
