Strange Sleeping Patterns

My sleeping pattern is not very consistent. Some nights I sleep very well and awake well rested, but some mornings I wake up feeling like I have barely slept. Is there anything I can do to ensure a good nights sleep every night?

Dear Sleepless,

We have helped others like you. The causes of poor sleep are numerous, but often simply correcting the hormonal imbalances helps restore sleep. This can be estrogen and progesterone related or it could be related to elevated cortisol levels and lack of melatonin. WE simply have to measure your levels of hormones. There are other causes of poor sleep like low magnesium, lack of exercise or low neurotransmitter levels. . This can also cause high blood pressure as well. So I would encourage you to seek an evaluation to determine just where the problems originates.
I hope this response was helpful to you
Warm regards,

Neal Speight, MD
