Huntersville, NC (April 13, 2010) - The Hunstad Center for Cosmetic Plastic Surgery and MedSpa held a ribbon cutting at their new location at 11208 Statesville Road in Huntersville. Over 50 people attended this event hosted by the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. The ribbon cutting commemorated The Center's business presence in the North Charlotte area where Joseph P. Hunstad, MD, FACS and Bill G. Kortesis, MD practice.
Their previous facility was located in Charlotte, NC, where Dr. Hunstad has served clients for over 22 years. The move was a deliberate attempt to keep up with the company's burgeoning clientele.
The new Hunstad Center is located in Northlake Business Park, in a 40,000 square foot accented stone and glass building that is situated on 26 acres of natural wooded areas and walking trails. Visitors are welcomed by a serene waterfall and wood plank ceilings upon entrance to the building.
The Hunstad Center occupies nearly 10,000 square feet of the massive construction and is divided into two areas: clinical and Medspa. The Clinical Practice features private consultation rooms, several operating rooms, four recovery rooms and a conference room complete with the latest technology. Patients in the MedSpa can retire to one of four private rooms with floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
"Our building has the look and feel of a mountain lodge retreat and clients will quickly realize that this is not your typical medical office. We want our patients to have a positive experience as safety, care and comfort are our top priorities.
