MATTHEWS, N.C. – March 31, 2010 – Carolinas Natural Health Center in Matthews, NC is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Jonathan R. Ritz and AFAA Certified Personal Trainer Holly Flom. Dr. Ritz and Flom are joining Dr. Michael Smith, founder of Carolinas Natural Health Center, along with therapists Debby Smith, Sandra Weber and Dede Wick.
Dr. Ritz comes from the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he most recently completed his residency. Ritz received his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY in International Relations and Economics and received his Doctor in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Tempe Arizona. Dr. Ritz also brings with him international experiences from his time spent in Mumbai, India and Bhaktapur, Nepal as a student clinician and intern.
Holly Flom is a Certified Health Coach through the Wellness Forum in Ohio specializing in improving the outlook on people’s relationship with food and incorporating the concept of whole food nutrition into people’s lives. Flom will be working with Dr. Smith and Dr. Ritz to help people achieve weight loss for life through the Ultra Lite program offered at Carolinas Natural Health Center. She is certified to provide fitness options to increase longevity for seniors and overall health to individuals including yoga, floor work, cardiovascular conditioning, running conditioning and weights.
With a passion for health and making the world a better place, Dr. Ritz and Holly Flom are a great addition to the team. Both hope to be able to use their new positions at Carolinas Natural Health Center as a platform to begin a health revolution in Matthews by creating a healthier community through education.
