North Carolina based non-profit organization celebrates one year anniversary
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (June 1, 2010) — On June 1, 2009 Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc (A4AC) officially launched with the release of www.amped4acure.org; subsequently the organization has experienced exponential growth and development in just one year’s time. To commemorate its first anniversary, Amped 4-A-Cure will rally the public ina month-long online awareness campaign and engage local supporters in a fundraising initiative.
To kick of the celebratory festivities, A4AC launches its Paper Icon fundraising initiative today. A number of Charlotte based retailers are showing support for Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc by participating in The Paper Icon program. When customers visit the participating retailers, they will have the opportunity to donate $1 or more to Amped 4-A-Cure at checkout. Those who donate will have their name placed on a Paper Icon, which will identify them as an official A4AC supporter on a designated wall in that particular business. It’s a great way for both the public and local businesses to GET AMPED!
Additionally, the A4AC team will run contests and promotions via a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and its own community site, Amped Nation (www.ampednation.org). Also, the new and improved monthly e-newsletter will also debut on June 15th. Check for updates on
