Lupus Mardi Gras Gala
In celebration of our Sixth Annual Mardi Gras Gala, the Lupus Foundation of America, Piedmont Chapter has designed an evening that is sure to satisfy your palate. In keeping with the Mardi Gras traditions, you'll be wined and dined in the spirit of the Krewe of Bacchus. The Krewe of Bacchus parade was founded in 1968 by a handful of New Orleans business leaders whose dream was to revitalize Carnival. Brought to Charlotte for your enjoyment, you'll dine on authentic creole cuisine, dance to the musical stylings of Hot Sauce, partake in a silent auction, experience the mystic with a fortune telling and even try your luck in the casino. Guests will also be treated to a Mardi Gras Masquerade Contest, King Cake Luxury Raffle, & crowning of the Gala King & Queen.
All proceeds benefit the LFA, Piedmont Chapter. The goal of the Piedmont Chapter is to provide lupus patients and their families with education and support and to aid in the fight against lupus. Support for the Mardi Gras Gala makes our mission a reality.
